Mental Health and Well Being

Our Well being team are:

Mrs Gregory (Assistant Headteacher/Well Being leader)

Mrs Wilson (Inclusion Manager/Well Being support)

Miss Watts (Mental Health First Aider/Teaching assistant)

Mrs Charters (Mental Health and Well Being Link Governor)

We are proud of the way in which we support our pupils' well-being and talk to them often about the effect it has on their relationships and learning.

We have developed our well-being and learning zone scales alongside the pupils so that we have a common language around mental health.

Well Being Scale and Learning Zones

Supporting your wellbeing and the wellbeing of your child is the most important thing you can do. We have school services which can support you as well including a pastoral and Inclusion team which you just need to email admin@homerswood.herts.sch.uk or call us to say you would like them to contact you. They offer telephone, face to face and virtual meetings with practical ideas and support. Included below are some links to supportive websites that could help you and your child further.

The important message is to be kind to yourself, and recognise that you are doing a great job.
