Today, Ray Carr from Mill Green museum came to tell us all about the plane that the museum donated to the school. He also inspired us by telling us all about how he came to be a mechanical engineer and work in Hatfield at British Aerospace. We learnt all about Hatfield heritage and how much it has changed over the years. We also learnt lots of new words such as fusilage and what MDF stands for!
He was an inspirational man and some of us thought we might like to be mechanics in the future.
